Interview with Sarah Sutton – ‘Black Orchid’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for another interview with Sarah Sutton (Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’), who I saw recently at ‘Wigan Comic Con Summer 2026’ at the Robin Park Sports Centre in Wigan in September 2026. In my latest interview with Sarah, we chat about her dual appearance as Nyssa and Ann Talbot in the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Black Orchid’, which was shown in March 1982. Continue reading →

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to continue checking out ‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version’, based on the ‘LOTR’ film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. This comedy version of ‘LOTR’ is by me and my best friend from school – Stephen Buckley – which we put together via cassette tape from 2003 to 2005. I shared the ‘LOTR: Comedy Version’ as part of my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar in the build-up to Christmas, December 2021. Continue reading →

The ‘Peter Pan’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

It’s that time of the year for me where I share a blog post or a review to commemorate my sister Bethan, who sadly passed away when I was small. Today is her birthday! She would’ve been 39 today. One of her favourite Disney animated films when growing up was the 1953 film ‘Peter Pan’. Continue reading →

‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version – The Fellowship of the Freak’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in December 2021, I shared my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar containing ‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version’, based on the film trilogy by director Peter Jackson. My best friend from school Stephen and I put together our comedy version of ‘LOTR’ when we were getting into the film trilogy set in Middle-Earth from 2003 to 2005. I recall us recording our comedic take on ‘LOTR’ using a cassette tape recorder. We had a lot of fun doing that. 🙂 Continue reading →

Novelization/Audiobook Review – ‘Doctor Who – Empire of Death’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At long last! 🙂 I get to share my latest video with Sarah Sutton (Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’)! We recorded this video sketch at the ‘Festival of the Time Lords’ convention at Newark Showground in Newark back in May 2026. It was a great opportunity for me to do a video with Sarah about the fact that there are now two ‘Empire of Death’ books in ‘Doctor Who’, including the BBC Book by David Bishop, featuring the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa, and the Target novelization by Scott Handcock, featuring the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby. It’s taken me a while to share this video by going through the ‘Space Babies’, ’73 Yards’, ‘Rogue’ and ‘Empire of Death’ Target novelizations, but I’m glad to be sharing this video with Sarah at last! Thanks to my best friend from school – Stephen Buckley – for being the cameraman when Sarah and I did our video. I hope everyone enjoys the video! 🙂 Continue reading →

‘Star Trek Continues’ Review #10 – ‘To Boldly Go’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve done it! I’ve finished revisiting the ‘Star Trek Continues’ series and today, I’m sharing my review on the two-part finale ‘To Boldly Go’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’! I’m so pleased that I’ve been able to share my individual reviews on the 10 stories featured in this fan-made series to celebrate the 60th anniversary of ‘Star Trek’. There was a concern on my part that I wasn’t going to achieve sharing my individual reviews on the ‘Star Trek Continues’ series in time for every week since I began this marathon of reviews in July 2026. I’m very glad that I’m at a point where I can say I’ve shared my reviews on every story of the 11-episode series of ‘Star Trek Continues’ every week. It’s been an enjoyable challenge, and I hope you’ll enjoy my thoughts on how the series concludes in the two-part finale. ‘To Boldy Go’ is a very special two-part finale, especially as it features special guest star Nicola Bryant, who is well-known for playing Peri Brown in ‘Doctor Who’. The two-part finale also stars Vic Mignogna as Captain Kirk, Todd Haberkorn as Mr. Spock, Chuck Huber as Dr. McCoy, Chris Doohan as Scotty, Grant Imahara as Sulu, Kim Stinger as Uhura, Wyatt Lenhart as Chekov and Michele Specht as Dr. McKennah.
