Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As part of the ‘Star Trek’ 60th anniversary celebrations, I’ve decided to check out the movie novelization of ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture’ by Gene Roddenberry, based on the screenplay by Harold Livingston and the story by Alan Dean Foster. I’m basing my review on the 40th anniversary edition of the movie novelization, which was released in 2019. It’s taken me seven years to check out the 40th anniversary edition, but I’m glad to be checking it out along with the unabridged audiobook read by Robert Petkoff for the TV show’s 60th anniversary. Hello everyone! 🙂

This year is the 50th anniversary of ‘Star Trek’! 50th! I can’t believe that it’s 50 years ago since ‘Star Trek’ was made. No wonder ‘Star Trek Beyond’ was good! I discovered it was the 50th anniversary of ‘Star Trek’ whilst chatting to Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) at the ‘Worcester Comic Con’ in August 2016. Continue reading →
