The ‘Peter Pan’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

It’s that time of the year for me where I share a blog post or a review to commemorate my sister Bethan, who sadly passed away when I was small. Today is her birthday! She would’ve been 39 today. One of her favourite Disney animated films when growing up was the 1953 film ‘Peter Pan’. Continue reading →

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Spring Bank Holiday in May in the UK today! 🙂 It’s been a while since I did one of these, so let’s do another Disney+ Roundup on three films I’ve seen recently. Again, I know I’m behind on some ‘Star Wars’ and ‘MCU’ shows on Disney+, but hopefully I’ll get to check them out soon for my blog. 🙂 Continue reading →

Quick Movie Review – ‘Robin Hood’ (1973)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Since I’ve reviewed quite a number of ‘Robin Hood’ stories on my blog, including the 1952 film with Richard Todd and of course the Tom and Jerry film, it’s only fair that I review the Disney film from 1973. If you were to ask me if this was my first experience of Robin Hood, then the answer is ‘yes’. 😀 Continue reading →

2 Quick Disney Movie Reviews – ‘The Rescuers’ and ‘The Rescuers Down Under’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I revisited two Disney movies on Disney+ recently. They were ‘The Rescuers’ and ‘The Rescuers Down Under’. I loved these two films about two mice rescuing kids in distress when I was little. I enjoyed the second film more the first, but they’re still good entertaining films to watch. Continue reading →

I’ve shared my DVD review on ‘Peter Pan’ before but my DVD review on ‘Return to Never Land’ is a brand-new one. Continue reading →

Cinema Experience – ‘The Wizard of Oz’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This week, I saw a re-release of the 1939 film, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ starring Judy Garland, at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw, Cardiff. It was great to see the film on the big screen with my parents. My Dad certainly enjoyed it as this was his film and it was nice to see the audience rows decently filled in there. Continue reading →

Disney DVD Review – ‘Sleeping Beauty’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For my final Disney film review in January, let’s take a look at another animated classic called ‘Sleeping Beauty’! The theme of this Disney film review season has been about romance especially with ‘Lady and the Tramp’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’. ‘Sleeping Beauty’ is no exception here. I also saw this film at the cinema recently at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw for a limited re-release. Continue reading →

Disney DVD Review – ‘Cinderella’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I was wrong about it being ‘The Little Mermaid’ this week. But that doesn’t matter, as I’ll be looking into ‘The Little Mermaid’ for next week. This week’s Disney review however is on the 1950 film, ‘Cinderella’. I have seen the 2015 live-action remake film by the way and really like it. What do I make of this cartoon film from 1950 then? Continue reading →

Disney DVD Review – ‘Peter Pan’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for a new Disney review on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and today we’re looking at the 1953 film, ‘Peter Pan’. Last week on Tuesday the 19th of September 2017, my parents and I re-watched this film to celebrate my sister Bethan’s birthday. My sister Bethan passed away a month before she was six years old. It was nice to re-watch this Disney film as it was one of her favourites when she was alive. Continue reading →
