Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.
It’s that time of the year for me where I share a blog post or a review to commemorate my sister Bethan, who sadly passed away when I was small. Today is her birthday! She would’ve been 39 today. One of her favourite Disney animated films when growing up was the 1953 film ‘Peter Pan’. Continue reading

Today, it’s my dear sister’s – Bethan – birthday. She would have been 38 today. Traditionally, I usually share a blog post or a review on the 19th of September every year to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Usually, it would be an in-depth review on a Disney film she loved. 🙂 Continue reading

It’s been a while since I’ve done a brand-new in-depth review on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, hasn’t it? 😀 Recently, my parents and I commemorated my late sister Bethan with revisiting the original 1937 ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ film (I’ve seen the teaser trailer for the upcoming 2025 film ‘Snow White’) and 1989’s ‘The Little Mermaid’. For Bethan’s birthday today, I decided to revisit the 2023 live-action version of ‘The Little Mermaid’ on Disney+ and share an in-depth review of it, following my quick review of the film last year when I saw it at the cinema. Today would have been my dear sister’s – Bethan – birthday. She would have been 36 today. To celebrate the occasion, here’s a lovely picture of my sister Bethan with two cuddly dogs. Snuggles is on the left and Puddles is on the right. They’re all having a tea party with cups of tea and cupcakes. 🙂 Continue reading

I’ve seen the latest 2023 live-action remake of Disney‘s ‘The Little Mermaid’ at the cinema! 🙂 Since I’ve seen and reviewed the original 1989 film as well as ‘The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea’, it’s only fair that I share some thoughts on the latest live-action film and whether I like the film or not. 🙂 Continue reading

Today is what would have been my late sister Bethan’s birthday. Recently, my parents and I revisited one of her favourite Disney films – the 1942 film ‘Bambi’ – on Disney+. We also watched the 2006 sequel ‘Bambi 2’, which takes place during the first film where Bambi is a young male deer fawn before he becomes an adult. Continue reading

Back in January 2019, I reviewed the 1950 Disney film ‘Cinderella’. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the 2015 live-action remake of ‘Cinderella’, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden, Stellan Skarsgård, Holliday Grainger, Derek Jacobi and Helen Bonham Carter. Recently, my parents and I revisited the 1989 Disney film ‘The Little Mermaid’. We enjoyed seeing that film again to commemorate my late sister Bethan. We also checked out the direct-to-video sequel to that film, ‘The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea’, which we saw on Disney+. Does the sequel match to what’s in the original film? Continue reading

To commemorate my sister Bethan’s birthday, who sadly died in 1993 when she was six years old, I’m sharing my reviews on the two Disney animated films, ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Return to Never Land’. I’ve shared my DVD review on ‘Peter Pan’ before but my DVD review on ‘Return to Never Land’ is a brand-new one. Continue reading

To commemorate my late sister Bethan’s birthday this year, I’ve reviewed another one of her favourite Disney films – the 1942 film ‘Bambi’. This is a Disney film I loved watching as a kid. It’s a timeless classic and features beautiful imagery and music, set in a forest with forest animals including Bambi and his friends. Continue reading
