Today, it’s August Bank Holiday Monday in the UK today! 🙂 What better way to commemorate the occasion by sharing my latest review on the ninth episode of ‘Star Trek Continues’, the fan-made series that’s a continuation of the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series featuring Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy, Scotty and the crew of the starship Enterprise. We’re coming to the end of ‘Star Trek Continues’, as this is the penultimate story in the series. It’s been a challenge to share my reviews on the ‘Star Trek Continues’ episodes every week, but I’ve greatly enjoyed it and hope to finish off my reviews on the series by sharing the final review on the two-part finale ‘To Boldy Go’ next week. In the meantime, let’s check out ‘What Ships Are For’, which is an episode where the Enterprise crew visit a world devoid of colour. John de Lancie, well-known for playing Q in ‘Star Trek’, makes a special guest appearance in this episode. ‘Star Trek Continues’ Review #8 – ‘Still Treads the Shadow’

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for us to check out the eighth episode of ‘Star Trek Continues’, the fan-made series that’s a continuation of the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series featuring Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy, Scotty and the crew of the starship Enterprise. This episode called ‘Still Treads the Shadow’ happens to be a sequel to ‘The Tholian Web’, an episode from Season 3 of the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series. In the episode, the Enterprise crew come across the Defiant starship from ‘The Tholian Web’, which happens to have an older version of Captain Kirk. The episode stars Vic Mignogna as Captain Kirk, Todd Haberkorn as Mr. Spock, Chuck Huber as Dr. McCoy, Chris Doohan as Scotty, Grant Imahara as Sulu, Kim Stinger as Uhura, Wyatt Lenhart as Chekov and Michele Specht as Dr. McKennah. The episode’s special guest star happens to be Rekha Sharma as Avi Samara. Rekha Sharma is well-known for being a regular in the ‘Battlestar Gallactica’ TV series and has appeared in a few episodes of ‘Star Trek: Discovery’. Continue reading →

Let’s check out the seventh episode of ‘Star Trek Continues’, the fan-made series that’s a continuation of the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series featuring Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy, Scotty and the crew of the starship Enterprise. In this episode called ‘Embracing the Chaos’, there are two storylines involving Kirk, Spock and competing female officer for captaincy of another starship whilst the Enterprise commanded by Scotty seeks to bring the starship Hood home. The episode stars Vic Mignogna as Captain Kirk, Todd Haberkorn as Mr. Spock, Chuck Huber as Dr. McCoy, Chris Doohan as Scotty, Grant Imahara as Sulu, Kim Stinger as Uhura, Wyatt Lenhart as Chekov and Michele Specht as Dr. McKennah. There are also guest stars Clare Kramer (from ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’) as Commander Diana Garrett, Erin Gray as Commodore Laura Gray (who previously appeared in ‘Lolani’), Beau Billingslea as Vice Admiral Stomm and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi from ‘Star Trek’) as the Federation computer voice. Today, it’s time for the sixth episode of the ‘Star Trek’ fan-made series ‘Star Trek Continues’! It’s time for ‘Come Not Between the Dragons’, an episode where an alien creature pierces the hull of the Enterprise to find sanctuary away from a pursuer that can send out red shockwaves, which escalates tensions between members of the Enterprise crew, including Mr. Spock who loses control of his emotions. The episode features special guest star Gigi Edgley as Ensign Eliza Taylor, who befriends the alien creature named Usdi when it ends up in her quarters aboard the Enterprise. The episode also stars Vic Mignogna as Captain Kirk, Todd Haberkorn as Mr. Spock, Chuck Huber as Dr. McCoy, Chris Doohan as Scotty, Grant Imahara as Sulu, Kim Stinger as Uhura, Wyatt Lenhart as Chekov and Michele Specht as Dr. McKennah. It’s time to see a ‘Doctor Who’ star in today’s ‘Star Trek Continues’ episode! 🙂 It’s the fourth episode of this ‘Star Trek’ fan-made series, and it features special guest star Colin Baker, well-known for playing the Sixth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. It also features Nakia Burrise, who is well-known for playing Tanya in the two ‘Power Rangers’ TV shows ‘Power Rangers Zeo’ and ‘Power Rangers Turbo’. This episode also happens to be a follow-up to previous ‘Star Trek’ episodes in the original TV series. This includes ‘The City on the Edge of Forever’, ‘Obsession’, ‘The Paradise Syndrome’ and ‘Requiem for Methuselah’. In the third instalment of the ‘Star Trek Continues’ fan-made series, it’s time for us to check out a sequel to the classic ‘Star Trek’ original TV series episode ‘Mirror, Mirror’ called ‘Fairest of Them All’. This episode depicts what happened after Captain Kirk from our universe encouraged Spock in the Mirror Universe to take command of the Enterprise and find a way to build new future for the Terran Empire. The episode stars Vic Mignogna as Captain Kirk, Todd Haberkorn as Mr. Spock, Chuck Huber in his debut as Dr. McCoy, Chris Doohan as Scotty, Grant Imahara as Sulu, Kim Stinger as Uhura, Wyatt Lenhart as Chekov and Michele Specht as Dr. McKennah.
