Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the third and final instalment of ‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version’, based on the ‘LOTR’ film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. This comedy version of ‘LOTR’ by me and my best friend from school – Stephen Buckley – was put together via cassette tape from 2003 to 2005. I cherish fond memories of putting that together. 🙂 In December 2021, I shared the ‘LOTR: Comedy Version’ as part of my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar in the build-up to Christmas. Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in December 2021, I shared my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar containing ‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version’, based on the film trilogy by director Peter Jackson. My best friend from school Stephen and I put together our comedy version of ‘LOTR’ when we were getting into the film trilogy set in Middle-Earth from 2003 to 2005. I recall us recording our comedic take on ‘LOTR’ using a cassette tape recorder. We had a lot of fun doing that. 🙂 Continue reading →

Novelization/Audiobook Review – ‘Doctor Who – Empire of Death’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At long last! 🙂 I get to share my latest video with Sarah Sutton (Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’)! We recorded this video sketch at the ‘Festival of the Time Lords’ convention at Newark Showground in Newark back in May 2026. It was a great opportunity for me to do a video with Sarah about the fact that there are now two ‘Empire of Death’ books in ‘Doctor Who’, including the BBC Book by David Bishop, featuring the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa, and the Target novelization by Scott Handcock, featuring the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby. It’s taken me a while to share this video by going through the ‘Space Babies’, ’73 Yards’, ‘Rogue’ and ‘Empire of Death’ Target novelizations, but I’m glad to be sharing this video with Sarah at last! Thanks to my best friend from school – Stephen Buckley – for being the cameraman when Sarah and I did our video. I hope everyone enjoys the video! 🙂 Continue reading →

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve decided to share a brand-new video containing my quick reactions to Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, originally recorded from December 2024 to June 2025. This is like the longest compilation video I’ve ever put together, as its runtime is about 1 hour and 32 minutes. So, it’s like watching a movie for an hour and a half. You’ll need to have about 92 minutes to check out this video in full. 😀 Continue reading →

Last weekend, I attended ‘Film & Comic Con Cardiff’ at the Utilita Arena (formerly the Motorpoint Arena – Why did the name have to change?). It was a two-day event from Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th October, but I attended just the Saturday. I had a good time. 🙂 Continue reading →

Just to give you an update, I’m hoping to do my in-depth reviews on Series 14 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson very soon. Before that happens though, I have a couple of 62nd anniversary celebration ‘Doctor Who’ reviews I want to share on my blog in November and I’m hoping to work my upcoming ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season for December 2025 leading into January 2026.
