Series 14 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Ncuti Gatwa on Blu-ray #1

– – – BRAND NEW REVIEW – – –

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the first episode of Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. It’s time to check out ‘Space Babies’ by Russell T. Davies, which was shown via BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and via Disney+ in non-UK parts of the world on the 11th of May 2024. ‘Space Babies’ was the first in a double bill of ‘Doctor Who’ episodes shown on the 11th of May – the second one being ‘The Devil’s Chord’. I’ve had time to process and reflect on my thoughts on ‘Space Babies’ as well as the rest of Series 14. I’ve certainly more to say about this episode compared to when I did my spoiler free reaction video on both ‘Space Babies’ and ‘The Devil’s Chord’ back in May 2024. Continue reading

Series 14 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Ncuti Gatwa on Blu-ray #0

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At long last! I’ve completed writing up my in-depth reviews on Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. These reviews are based on me checking out the stories in the Series 14 Blu-ray box set. As we speak, I’m in the process of uploading my reviews on each of the stories in Series 14 to my blog. I aim to share my reviews every week from April to June 2026. It’s taken me a while to write up my reviews on each story in Series 14, but I’m happy to be sharing them on my blog, which includes in-depth thoughts by me on what I think of the stories today compared to when I first viewed back from May to June 2024. Book/Audio Review – ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finished checking out ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ book by Douglas Adams. I read the book along with the audiobook read by Stephen Fry via Audible. It’s been fascinating to check out the first book of ‘The Hitchhiker’s’ franchise compared to checking out the first ‘Hitchhiker’s’ radio series called ‘Primary Phase’. I purchased the 42nd anniversary edition of ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ book, which also includes a foreword by Russell T. Davies, who is the showrunner for ‘Doctor Who’, both from 2005 to 2010 and lately from 2023 onwards. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Doctor Who Unleashed – 20 Years in Wales’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Okay, so, I must admit, I’ve not seen every episode of the behind-the-scenes documentary ‘Doctor Who Unleashed’ by this point. Hopefully, I can make up for this when it comes to doing in-depth reviews on Series 14 and 15 of ‘Doctor Who’ in 2026. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick TV Series Review – ‘The War Between the Land and the Sea’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Hmm. I must admit, I wasn’t one of those people who was ecstatically excited about this ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series involving U.N.I.T. and the Sea Devils – although they’re now referred to as ‘Homo Aqua’ in the series. Personally, I think ‘Sea Devils’ is a catchier name. Continue reading

Quick Reactions to Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’ (ALL in ONE COMPILATION)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve decided to share a brand-new video containing my quick reactions to Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, originally recorded from December 2024 to June 2025. This is like the longest compilation video I’ve ever put together, as its runtime is about 1 hour and 32 minutes. So, it’s like watching a movie for an hour and a half. You’ll need to have about 92 minutes to check out this video in full. 😀 Continue reading

Season 25 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Sylvester McCoy on Blu-ray #1

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s taken me a while, but I’m at last checking out and sharing my updated reviews on Season 25 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace. This is the 25th anniversary season of ‘Doctor Who’, which was shown from October 1988 to January 1989. The Blu-ray box set came out in October 2024, but I had to check out Seasons 15 and 20 on Blu-ray first before getting onto sharing my updated thoughts on the four stories in Season 25. Let’s begin out look into Season 25 by checking out ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’, a four-part story by Ben Aaronvitch, who makes his first contribution to the TV series. Continue reading
