Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the third episode of Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. This week, we’re checking out ‘Boom’ by Steven Moffat, who was the showrunner for the Matt Smith/Eleventh Doctor and Peter Capaldi/Twelfth Doctor eras from 2010 to 2017. ‘Boom’ was shown via BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and via Disney+ in non-UK parts of the world on the 18th of May 2024. I recall seeing this episode at a Premier Inn when I was away in Bolton with my best mate from school Stephen. Was Steven Moffat’s return to ‘Doctor Who’ truly worthwhile, as I indicated in my spoiler free-reaction video on ‘Boom’ back in May 2024? Do I still regard ‘Boom’ as the best episode featured in Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series?
