Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
After finishing my in-depth reviews on Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, it’s time for me to share my latest review on the exclusive BBC iPlayer series ‘Tales of the TARDIS’. This was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ back in November 2023. Originally six episodes, this is now a seven-episode series with its seventh being a special one released in June 2024 between the Series 14 two-part finale ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’/’Empire of Death’.
‘Tales of the TARDIS’ focuses on seven classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, including ‘Earthshock’, ‘The Mind Robber’, ‘Vengeance on Varos’, ‘The Three Doctors’, ‘The Time Meddler’, ‘The Curse of Fenric’ and ‘Pyramids of Mars’. The series stars Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Janet Fielding as Tegan, Frazer Hines as Jamie, Wendy Padbury as Zoe, Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Nicola Bryant as Peri, Katy Manning as Jo, Daniel Anthony as Clyde, Maureen O’Brien as Vicki, Peter Purves as Steven, Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor, Sophie Aldred as Ace, Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby.
