Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s time for me to share my final set of ‘convention memories’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. 🙂 Today, I’m sharing my memories of attending the ‘Bournemouth Film & Comic Con’ at the Bournemouth International Centre from Saturday the 29th to Sunday the 30th of August 2015. A terrific weekend! 😀 Continue reading

At last! I’ve seen all of Season 3 of ‘Star Trek: Picard’! 🙂 It’s interesting how ‘Picard’ developed as a series since it began in 2020. For the first two seasons, there weren’t so many ‘Next Generation’ elements for ‘Star Trek’ fans to enjoy. Quite frankly, I found the first two seasons underwhelming. 😐 Continue reading

It’s time to share the last set of ‘convention memories’ I have for 2014. This was a special treat for me, as I got to attend a little convention, also called a sci-fi fair, in Fareham in December 2014 run by the organiser called the Timeless Collectors or the Sci-Fi South Collectors. I got to see Sarah Sutton before Christmas that year, which was very exciting. 🙂 Continue reading

I know I said I was holding back on this comic con after attending ‘Collectormania 27’ in Birmingham back in September. But after seeing Jodie Whittaker (the Thirteenth Doctor) and David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor and now the Fourteenth Doctor) in the ‘Doctor Who’ BBC Centenary Special called ‘The Power of the Doctor’, I had to go to this event before 2022 was over. I’m pleased I did. Continue reading

My best mate from school, Stephen, fancied a trip to Birmingham. Once I told him that Jodie Whittaker (the Thirteenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’) was going to attend ‘Collectormania 27 – Film & Comic Con Birmingham’ at the NEC, Birmingham in September 2022, we agreed to meet up there. 🙂 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley.
And yes! I’ve seen Season 2 of ‘Star Trek: Picard’! Since I saw Season 1 of ‘Picard’ back in 2020, it’s only fair that I check out Season 2 on Prime Video. I didn’t know what to expect when it came to checking out Season 2 of ‘Picard’, but hoped I would enjoy it and find it a season worthy of my time. Continue reading

We’ve come to the end of the ‘Star Trek: Prometheus’ book/audio trilogy, as we look at the third and final instalment called ‘In the Heart of Chaos’ by Bernd Perplies and Christian Humberg. The Big Finish audiobook is read by Alec Newman. Does this ‘Star Trek’ book/audio trilogy end on a satisfactory note or did it become a disappointment for me? Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.
I’m saddened to share the news that Nichelle Nichols, who played Lt. Uhura in the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series, has passed away. I enjoyed her in the original ‘Star Trek’ series as well as the six ‘Star Trek’ films featuring the original series cast. My memories of her as Lt. Uhura are very happy ones. 🙂 Continue reading

I’m saddened to hear the news that David Warner has passed away. I feel lucky to have met him at conventions and I’ve enjoyed him in many film and TV productions over the years. I’ve had many nice chats with David. I will always take away the happy memories of seeing David at conventions. 🙂 Continue reading

It’s time to check out the second book/audiobook of the ‘Star Trek: Prometheus’ trilogy. The second book is called ‘The Root of All Rage’ by Bernd Perplies and Christian Humberg and the audiobook is read by Alec Newman. It’s a shame there doesn’t seem to be more ‘Star Trek’ audio productions by Big Finish lately. Continue reading
