I’ve recently updated my reviews on the five stories featured in the Season 8 Blu-ray box set of ‘Doctor Who’ with Jon Pertwee. I’m currently looking forward to Season 24 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Sylvester McCoy when it comes out soon. For now, let’s talk about the five stories of Season 8 each in turn for each day of this week. Season 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ stars Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant with Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Roger Delgado as the Master, Richard Franklin as Captain Mike Yates and John Levene as Sergeant Benton. I’ve added my review on the ‘Doctor Who’ Target novelization/audiobook of ‘The TV Movie’ by Gary Russell. This is looking into the 2021 Target Books edition of the novelization, not the 1996 BBC Books edition. ‘The ‘TV Movie’ features the Seventh and Eighth Doctors, Grace Holloway, Chang Lee and the Master. Here we are on the last set of ‘Myth Makers’ interviews compilation DVDs that I had for Christmas 2020. This time, it’s ‘The Doctors: The Paul McGann Years’! It’s unusual as Paul McGann had a short TV tenure playing the Eighth Doctor with doing ‘The TV Movie’ in 1996. But of course, a lot has happened since then as Paul has done plenty of Big Finish audios and did ‘The Night of the Doctor’. 🙂 Continue reading
