Quick Movie Review – ‘Matilda the Musical’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s funny. For a long time, I’ve never considered the idea of Roald Dahl‘s ‘Matilda’ being a musical that seriously. The stage show had a trial run in Stratford-upon-Avon from 2010 to 2011 before it had its West End premiere in 2011. Apparently, it’s a popular stage show, yet I’ve not seen it myself. Over the Easter weekend, my parents and I saw the movie ‘Operation Mincemeat’ on the Easter Saturday. 🙂 My Mum was keenly interested to see this period World War II drama film on the big screen. So was my Dad. I happily obliged and accompanied them to see this movie on the big screen. Continue reading

The story has Jodie Whittaker back as the Thirteenth Doctor, Mandip Gill as Yaz and John Bishop as Dan. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the movie ‘Morbius’ at the cinema! 🙂 This is the third film in what is arguably called ‘Sony’s Spider-Man Universe’, even though Spider-Man doesn’t appear in it (yet). Honestly, you could’ve called this the ‘Sony Spider-Man Villain Universe’ in order for it to make sense. Is that unfair of me? Continue reading

It’s taken a while for this film to come out at cinemas ever since I saw the first trailer for it back in 2020, but I’m pleased that it’s out at cinemas. Continue reading
