Yes! It’s MJTV time again! 😀 Back in 2018, I did an Easter review season on the audio series ‘Soldiers of Love’, produced by MJTV (Mark James Thompson Visuals). Sadly, the MJTV website doesn’t exist anymore, and there isn’t a way to purchase the 14-part audio series online, both physically and digitally. 😦 Thankfully, Critical Penguin has come to the rescue! 🙂 Continue reading →

It’s time to take a look at the only ‘Doctor Who’ episode from the classic TV series to not feature William Hartnell as the First Doctor, even though he is credited in the cast list. This is ‘Mission to the Unknown’, which serves as a prelude to the 12-part epic story ‘The Daleks’ Master Plan’. There are two versions of this story. There’s the original, which can be heard on its TV soundtrack on an audio CD or via Audible, and there’s a new version of the story produced by the students of the University of Central Lancashire, which can be viewed on the ‘Doctor Who’ YouTube channel.
