It’s time for me to start sharing my reviews on the rest of the stories featured in the ‘Warriors’ Gate and Beyond’ 2023 Target novelization, which I checked out recently along with updating my review on the 2019 Target audiobook of ‘Warriors’ Gate’. Let’s start off today by checking out ‘The Kairos Ring’, a story originally released exclusive-to-audio by BBC Audio in 2021 and is now included in prose form in the ‘Warriors’ Gate and Beyond’ 2023 Target novelization.

‘The Kairos Ring’ features Romana and Lazlo, as they work together to combat the deadly threat of the sinister Sluagh. They also meet up with Joshua, a soldier from the American Civil War. This ‘Doctor Who’ story is by Stephen Gallagher, and the audiobook is read by Steven Pacey, well-known for playing Del Tarrant in the sci-fi TV series ‘Blake’s 7’. ‘The Kairos Ring’ was also the first story in the ‘Beyond the Doctor’ audio series. Was ‘The Kairos Ring’ worth my time when checking it out in audio and prose form?
