Before we return to the Big Finish audio world tomorrow, let’s uncover today’s instalment of ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season for December 2024 to January 2025 by checking out the BBC Audio Originals story of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Dark Contract’ by Will Hadcroft. The story features the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric and is a 70-minute audio episode. ‘Dark Contract’ is read by Matthew Waterhouse, who plays Adric in the TV series and the Big Finish audios. In today’s instalment of the latest ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season, it’s time for us to check out the first of two 2024 box set audio releases in ‘The Fifth Doctor Adventures’ range of ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish. It’s time for ‘The Dream Team’, starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Janet Fielding as Tegan and Matthew Waterhouse as Adric. This box set contains two stories – a four-part adventure called ‘The Merfolk Murders’ by Tim Foley and a two-part adventure called ‘Dream Team’ by Lizzie Hopley. Continue reading
