I’m pleased all the audiobook versions of the Season 18 Target novelizations have been made. I’ve finally filled in the gap of my reviews on the Target novelizations/audiobooks of Season 18 of ‘Doctor Who’. Today, I’m sharing my review on the novelization/audiobook of ‘Meglos’ by Terrance Dicks, which is based on the original TV scripts by John Flanagan and Andrew McCulloch. ‘Doctor Who – Meglos’ features the Fourth Doctor, Romana and K-9. Just in case you missed it yesterday, I’ve read and heard the Target novelization/audiobook of the ‘Doctor Who’ story called ‘Dragonfire’ by Ian Briggs. The story features the Seventh Doctor and Mel who meet Ace for the first time and they reunite with Sabalom Glitz from ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’. The story also features Mel’s first departure from the TARDIS before she returned in ‘A Life of Crime’. The audiobook for ‘Doctor Who – Dragonfire’ is read by Bonnie Langford who played Mel in the TV series and she continues to play her in the Big Finish audios. Continue reading

My updated review on the story is based on the Blu-ray box set release of Season 24. ‘Dragonfire’ features Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor and Bonnie Langford as Mel and it introduces Sophie Aldred as Ace, the new companion.
