Quick Movie Review – ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Oh dear. This is a tough one. Initially, I had in mind to revisit the first ‘Joker’ movie from 2019 before going to see the second ‘Joker’ film at the cinema. In the end, I decided not to revisit the first ‘Joker’ film, as I didn’t have the time but also because I didn’t need to. 😐 Continue reading

Quick Web Series Review – ‘Star Trek Continues’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Usually, I don’t review fan productions of a favourite sci-fi TV show that I love watching, as I tend to focus on the official productions being made. However, I feel ‘Star Trek Continues’ is a web series worth talking about, as it’s a show I’ve enjoyed checking out on YouTube and I’m glad I’ve seen it all. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s that time again for me to share some thoughts on a few films I’ve seen on Disney+ lately. Even though I’m not doing reviews on the latest ‘Star Wars’ and ‘MCU’ shows at the moment (there’s too many at present), I’m happy to keep checking out films on Disney+ and share my thoughts on them. Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here are my thoughts on seeing the extended cut of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, the third and final ‘Spider-Man’ film of the current Tom Holland/Jon Watts film trilogy, which was shown recently at cinemas this year. This is the last film of the marathon of the eight live-action ‘Spider-Man’ movies being shown at cinemas in the UK from August to September in 2024. Continue reading

Disney Film Review – ‘The Little Mermaid’ (2023)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a brand-new in-depth review on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, hasn’t it? 😀 Recently, my parents and I commemorated my late sister Bethan with revisiting the original 1937 ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ film (I’ve seen the teaser trailer for the upcoming 2025 film ‘Snow White’) and 1989’s ‘The Little Mermaid’. For Bethan’s birthday today, I decided to revisit the 2023 live-action version of ‘The Little Mermaid’ on Disney+ and share an in-depth review of it, following my quick review of the film last year when I saw it at the cinema. Continue reading

Blu-ray Review – ‘The Underwater Menace’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today, I’m sharing my updated review on the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘The Underwater Menace’. This updated review is based on the latest in a line of mostly missing black-and-white ‘Doctor Who’ TV stories from the 1960s that have been animated on DVD and Blu-ray for today. The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Anneke Wills as Polly Wright, Michael Craze as Ben Jackson and Frazer Hines as Jamie McCrimmon. This story also features Joseph Fürst as the titular ‘underwater menace’ – Professor Zaroff. Continue reading
