‘TROUBLE WITH SNOW’

Please feel free to comment on my review.

This ‘Spider-Man’ story has our webslinging hero fight against a snowman who’s been brought to life by electricity. Yeah, should I really be that surprised that snowmen can come to life by electricity? What’s even absurd about this is that the snowman can grow in size when it’s snowing very heavily. 😐

I’m surprised Spider-Man didn’t bring in his ‘Power Rangers’ Megazord from the 1970s Japanese TV series. 😀 I know it hasn’t been made yet but still, it could’ve happened. I’m also not sure why the ‘evil, city-destroying’ snowman wants to destroy New York City when it gets snowed over during this story.

Peter Parker interacts with a girl called Susan, who I believe has been in the series before. But there’s no consistency with the girls Peter’s interacted with, so why should I bother? In fact, what happened to that nice girl Jackie he met? And didn’t anything come from his relationship with Betty?

J. Jonah Jameson also appears in this story. I know I like Jameson appearing in the 1990s TV series and the original ‘Spider-Man’ movie trilogy, but the Jameson in the 1960s TV series is rather hard on Peter. He even insults him at the end of this story. He calls him ‘worthless’ and Peter has to take it in.

‘Trouble with Snow’ rating – 5/10
