‘THE VANISHING DOCTOR VESPASIAN’

Please feel free to comment on my review.

I was daydreaming about other reviews I’d be doing whilst watching this ‘Spider-Man’ story. I know I should’ve been paying attention, but the 1990s series would keep my attention more than the 1960s series. I find the 1960s ‘Spider-Man’ TV series a mixed bag and I haven’t even finished Season 3 yet!!!

In this ‘Spider-Man’ story, Spidey fights against the evil Dr. Vespasian, who happens to be…green-skinned. Why don’t they make all the ‘Spider-Man’ villains in this series green-skinned?! As well as the Green Goblin, Scorpion and Vulture being green, Doc Ock and Mysterio can be green-skinned. 😀

Heck, villains like Kraven the Hunter and the Chameleon aren’t in this series. A series of bank robberies take place and no evidence can be found. Dr. Vespasian creates an invisibility formula called ‘Invisoscine’ to allow him and his group of crooks to conduct robberies without getting caught.

Spider-Man investigates the robberies and manages to find a way to stop them by throwing a container of flour onto Vespasian’s dog Brutus, who attacks him whilst invisible. He also traps Vespasian in a vault using ice cream toppings built into the security system. Vespasian gets caught. 😐

‘The Vanishing Doctor Vespasian’ rating – 3/10
