Quick Reactions to Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’ (ALL in ONE COMPILATION)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve decided to share a brand-new video containing my quick reactions to Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, originally recorded from December 2024 to June 2025. This is like the longest compilation video I’ve ever put together, as its runtime is about 1 hour and 32 minutes. So, it’s like watching a movie for an hour and a half. You’ll need to have about 92 minutes to check out this video in full. 😀 Continue reading

Tesco Adverts with Prunella Scales

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

To add on to the tribute I made to Prunella Scales recently, I enjoyed her in some of the Tesco adverts that I used to see as a kid when I watched kid’s TV shows in the 1990s. It’s amazing that I saw Prunella Scales in those adverts as well as Sybil in ‘Fawlty Towers’. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Everyone’s been talking about it! 🙂 We’ve had the latest news about ‘Doctor Who’ setting to make a return to TV screens in December 2026 with a new Christmas Special by Russell T. Davies. Plus, there’s the confirmation that Disney has ended its association with the BBC on making more ‘Doctor Who’ seasons. Continue reading

Quick Disney DVD Review – ‘The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in 2016, I shared a review on the 1947 Disney film ‘Fun and Fancy Free’. It was an anthology film containing two segments, including ‘Bongo’ and ‘Mickey and the Beanstalk’. Here I am sharing a quick review on another Disney anthology film from 1949. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Fawlty Towers – The Play’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Yes, I know. I’ve talked about ‘Fawlty Towers – The Play’ twice already having seen it twice in the Apollo Theatre in London back in February and August this year. But recently, a special recording of the theatre play was shown on TV via U&Gold, which is pretty amazing. Continue reading

DVD Reviews – ‘Dad’s Army: The Missing Episodes’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in January 2024, I shared a quick review on the ‘Dad’s Army – The Missing Episodes’ DVD, which was released in 2023. This contains animated reconstructions of missing ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes from Series 2 and ‘Christmas Night with the Stars’. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve updated my ‘Dad’s Army’ reviews accordingly, based on the ‘Dad’s Army – The Missing Episodes’ DVD release. Continue reading

Just to give you an update, I’m hoping to do my in-depth reviews on Series 14 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson very soon. Before that happens though, I have a couple of 62nd anniversary celebration ‘Doctor Who’ reviews I want to share on my blog in November and I’m hoping to work my upcoming ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season for December 2025 leading into January 2026. BB@10 – Reflection on Christmas

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I know it’s early to talk about Christmas as we’re in September, not December, but frankly, I celebrate Christmas in more than just one month. This is emphasised in some of the Christmas Specials I review as well as preparing for Christmas before December happens. Continue reading

Novelization/Audiobook Review – ‘Doctor Who – The Church on Ruby Road’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’re back with another review on a ‘Doctor Who’ novelization/audiobook, and this time, it’s on the first Fifteenth Doctor TV adventure that was shown on Christmas Day in December 2023 called ‘The Church on Ruby Road’, featuring the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday. The novelization is by Esmie Jikiemi-Pearson, based on the TV script by Russell T. Davies, and the audiobook is read by Angela Wynter, who plays Cherry Sunday, Ruby’s grandmother in the TV series. I purchased the BBC Books hardback edition of ‘The Church on Ruby Road’ novelization as opposed to the Target paperback edition. Continue reading

Quick DVDs Review – ‘Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For Christmas 2024, I gave my parents the Series 1-4 DVD collection of the BBC TV drama mystery series ‘Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators’. It was a winner for them as well as for me. So much so that I later purchased the 2022 Christmas Special on DVD. Continue reading
