Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve had quite a number of birthday presents this year. It’s quite a job to get through them when you’re doing so many other things. But thankfully I’ve been able to get through another one of my birthday presents and this turned out to be a movie…given to me by my cuddly toy dog, Cuddles. Continue reading

‘Happy Birthday to Me!’ 2018

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s my birthday today! 😀 And in case you’re wondering who that little boy is in the photo, it is in fact me. I look so little, don’t I? 😀 That’s me with my parents and we’re having a Thunderbird 1 birthday cake. Before ‘Doctor Who’ came into my life, I was so into ‘Thunderbirds’ as a kid. Truly, I was. 😀 Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Napoleon Dynamite’

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve now seen the third of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

‘Napoleon Dynamite’ is a comedy film made in 2004. It has the feel of a 1980s movie about it, since there are cassette tapes featured in it. I enjoyed seeing this film. I wasn’t sure whether I would take to it, but I found some enjoyment in the story and the characters. I will need to see this movie again. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘The Mask’

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve now seen the second of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

‘The Mask’ is a comedy superhero movie that I’ve enjoyed watching! I remember watching this film on VHS in the 1990s. However I had vague memories from watching the film, since I was a kid and couldn’t remember the story. So it was great to revisit the film on DVD and also watch it as an adult. Continue reading

I’ve now seen the first of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

I enjoyed watching ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’ on DVD! Yes I know, it’s too early for Christmas as it’s only June! But as Oliver Hardy said, “Do your Christmas shopping early!” 😀 Also, if I can review ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Specials throughout the year, why can’t I do it with Blackadder’s Christmas?! Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve seen the third of three birthday presents from my best mate from school, Stephen.

‘The Fifth Element’ is a science-fiction film that I’ve enjoyed watching and found very interesting. It stars Bruce Willis as the main action hero Korben Dallas and is directed by Lue Beeson. There are plenty of interesting elements regarding the plot and some moments of comedy that I found pretty bizarre. Continue reading
