As part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve decided to share a brand-new video containing my quick reactions to Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, originally recorded from December 2024 to June 2025. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the second story of Season 14 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, and it’s here we say goodbye to Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. It’s time for ‘The Hand of Fear’, a four-part adventure by Bob Baker and Dave Martin. As well as Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Lis Sladen as Sarah Jane, the story also introduces us to Eldrad, played by Judith Paris and Stephen Thorne. ‘The Hand of Fear’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. Today on what I call Easter Saturday ( 😀 ), it’s time to check out the third instalment of the ‘Hornets’ Nest’ BBC audio series in ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘The Circus of Doom’ by Paul Magrs, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Richard Franklin as Mike Yates. This story also features Susie Riddell as Sally, Michael Maloney as Dr. Adam Farrow, Jilly Bond as Francesca, Stephen Thorne as Antonio and Susan Jameson as an old lady. Continue reading

It’s time for us to check out the ‘Dalek War’ saga in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. Today, we’re starting off with ‘Frontier In Space’, a six-part adventure starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. Roger Delgado also makes his last and sadly final appearance as the Master in this ‘Doctor Who’ story. In ‘Frontier In Space’, the Master tries to provoke a war between the Earth and Draconian Empires. This six-part story can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. Continue reading

It’s Season 10 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. The 10th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’! 🙂 Today, we take a look at ‘The Three Doctors’, the first ‘Doctor Who’ story to feature more than one Doctor. As well as Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, we have the return of Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor and William Hartnell as the First Doctor. There’s also Katy Manning as Jo Grant, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier and John Levene as Sergeant Benton. The four-part story also features Stephen Thorne as Omega. ‘The Three Doctors’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. Continue reading
