I saw the original anime TV show as a kid. I was there when the ‘Pokémon’ madness happened in late 1990s/early 2000s. Live with it! 😀 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Mary Queen of Scots’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw the movie ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ at the cinema this week. This is a historical drama film set during the Tudor period of England in the 1500s. The film stars Saoirse Ronan as Mary, Queen of Scots and Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth the First. Both actresses deliver good performances in the film. Continue reading

The film remained true to the spirit of the comedic atmosphere the duo had whilst also depicting what they seemed to be like in real-life. Continue reading

Like with ‘Call the Midwife’, I’m basing my thoughts on the ‘Grantchester’ Series 4 episodes as a casual viewer and not as a regular one. Continue reading
