The TARDIS Gets Invaded with the Fifth Doctor

This is a six-part adventure by Steve Parkhouse. The artwork varies as the six episodes are drawn by Steve Parkhouse and Mick Austin. This makes the comic book stories of the Fifth Doctor inconsistent. It would have been nice if all the Fifth Doctor comic stories were drawn by the talented Dave Gibbons.

In this story, the Doctor solves a mystery when the TARDIS gets buried in mud. Forest fires soon occur. Shayde also returns to help the Doctor to save the TARDIS from destruction. Despite the title, ‘The Stockbridge Horror’ is not altogether set in Stockbridge and I found the climax very unsatisfying.
