Lady Florence Craye returns, now engaged to one of Bertie’s friends, Stilton Cheesewright. Stilton’s got a pretty bad temper and is easily jealous when he finds out Bertie was once engaged to Florence.

This episode also features Florence’s father Lord Worplesden. He tries to get to meet face-to-face with Chichester Clam on a boat deal but he gets harassed by the press who want to interview him.

Bertie also helps out his friend George Caffyn, the Broadway Musical director who wants to marry Lord Worplesden’s niece Nobby. There is also a fancy dress ball scene at the Empire State Building.
