‘Beast Wars’ Review #18 – ‘Dark Voyage’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s October and we’re back on track with checking out the rest of the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series. Let’s continue by checking out another exciting episode in Season 1 of ‘Beast Wars’ called ‘Dark Voyage’. It’s an episode where four Maximals – Rhinox, Cheetor, Rattrap and Dinobot – get caught in an Energon explosion and are blinded. They must find their way back to the Maximals’ base through darkness whilst overcoming obstacles, including being attacked by Predacons. I did see this episode on GMTV over the Christmas holidays from 1999 to 2000 and it was after seeing Season 2 of ‘Beast Wars’ in 1999. I recorded the episode on VHS to watch again and again, and years later, I owned the episode in ‘The Beginning’ Volume 3 VHS release. I also saw the episode when I purchased the ‘Beast Wars’ 15th anniversary DVD box set for Christmas in December 2011. It’s great to revisit these ‘Beast Wars’ episodes and update my reviews on them, having such fond memories of watching the TV series as a kid in the 1990s. Continue reading

So, on the 8th of September this year, I saw ‘Back to the Future – The Musical’ for a second time at the Adelphi Theatre in London. I greatly enjoyed seeing it a second time, and it was fascinating to see Brian Conley taking on the role of Doc Brown this time round. Continue reading

New ‘Doctor Who’ Timelines for September 2025

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As promised, for my blog’s 10th anniversary celebrations, I’ve decided to share three brand-new ‘Doctor Who’ timelines for people to enjoy. Sadly, I can’t provide a timeline for the Sixteenth Doctor yet, as I still don’t know, at this stage, if that’s who Billie Piper is playing from the end of ‘The Reality War’ in Series 15 of the new TV series. But I’ve provided some interesting timelines for three certain characters that have appeared in the TV series, the Big Finish audios, the books, the comics, etc.

I’ve reviewed plenty of ‘Doctor Who’ stories both in TV terms and via audio, including the Big Finish audio stories. I’ve also had the chance to check out and share my thoughts on the productions made by the company BBV (short for Bill & Ben Video) from the 1990s. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

One of the most regular things I’ve done my blog these past 10 years is share blog posts on the first Monday of May every year. For many outside the UK, this isn’t a massive deal. But in the UK, we have our Early Bank Holiday Monday in the first week of May to enjoy. 🙂 Continue reading
