I’m saddened to share the news that Nichelle Nichols, who played Lt. Uhura in the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series, has passed away. I enjoyed her in the original ‘Star Trek’ series as well as the six ‘Star Trek’ films featuring the original series cast. My memories of her as Lt. Uhura are very happy ones. 🙂 Continue reading

It’s amazing to think how much time has passed since I saw this movie on DVD in 2004! I saw ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’ recently on the big screen at my local Showcase Cinema in Nantgarw. Last weekend from the 19th to the 21st of October 2018, my Mum and I attended the ‘Destination Star Trek Birmingham’ convention at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham.
