Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m halfway through Series 3 of ‘Grantchester’. Even though I know what’s going to happen in Series 4 and 5 later on, it’s very interesting to see how the first three seasons turn out. I’m curious about how it’ll turn out for Sidney’s relationship with Amanda and for Geordie’s affair with Margaret. Hmm! Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 2

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw this ‘Grantchester’ episode way before I saw any of Series 4 and 5 episodes as well as the Series 1, 2 and 3 episodes. This episode perked my interest because a certain ‘Doctor Who’ star was in it. Lately, I’ve gained more knowledge of the ‘Grantchester’ series and know the characters more. Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 2, Episode 6

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And here we are on the final episode of Series 2 of ‘Grantchester’. This season has been gripping to watch with a certain story going through it about Abigail Redmond’s death and such. I’ve also found the sixth Series 2 episode of ‘Grantchester’ a happier one since it seems to start off a new beginning. Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 2, Episode 5

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Series 2 of ‘Grantchester’ draws to a close as we’re on the penultimate episode. Things become grizzly by the time the fifth episode comes to an end. This is especially when one of the characters that has been prevalent in Series 2 gets killed off and we have a punch-out between our two leads! 😦 Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 1, Episode 3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the third episode of Series 1 of ‘Grantchester’ this week. I’m really getting into these early ‘Grantchester’ episodes and I’m enjoying them every Wednesday. I recognised some faces in this episode. There was even one face I thought I recognised but it wasn’t actually who I was thinking of. 😀 Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 5, Episode 6

Hello everyone. 😦

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

(sighs) Okay, let’s get this over with. It’s time for Series 5, Episode 6 of ‘Grantchester’. Let me tell you, I was hoping for a great climax to this season of ‘Grantchester’. After the build-up to what had been going on in the first five episodes, I was hoping for a good pay-off to all the characters I’d seen. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 5, Episode 3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So far, I’ve enjoyed the latest series of ‘Grantchester’ and I’m happy to be watching it on Friday nights on ITV1. With that said, I can’t deny there are a number of things about the series that baffle and astonish me, especially with regards to character development. Hopefully things will be explored further. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 5, Episode 2

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I enjoyed watching Series 5, Episode 2 of ‘Grantchester’ last night. It was another enjoyable episode that combined both character drama as well as a murder mystery. It’s interesting how ‘Grantchester’ does that in one hour of TV compared to other murder mysteries that have 2 hours to tell the story. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 5, Episode 1

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

‘Grantchester’ is back! I found this out when looking in the ‘Radio Times’! My parents and I had to watch Series 5 this year after enjoying Series 4 last year. This time, we watched the first episode via ITV1 on Friday at 9pm instead of on ITV Hub. Hopefully we’ll continue this for the rest of the season. Continue reading
