We conclude the ‘Dalek War’ saga in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series today by looking at ‘Planet of the Daleks’, a six-part adventure starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. The story takes us to the planet Spiridon, where the Third Doctor and Jo team up with a group of Thals, as they try to stop an army of Daleks under a frozen mountain from being woken up. ‘Planet of the Daleks’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. Yes! I’ve seen the complete series of the BBC sitcom ‘Allo, ‘Allo!’, starring Gorden Kaye as René Artois and Carmen Silvera as Edith, René’s wife. This was the Christmas present I gave to my Dad last year. My parents and I spent about three months watching this comedy series and we’ve enjoyed it! Continue reading →
