The third story of Season 14 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series and Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor is travelling solo this time. It’s time for ‘The Deadly Assassin’, a four-part story by Robert Holmes where the Doctor returns to Gallifrey and faces the Master again. This story is notable for reshaping the Time Lords as we know them today. We conclude the ‘Dalek War’ saga in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series today by looking at ‘Planet of the Daleks’, a six-part adventure starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. The story takes us to the planet Spiridon, where the Third Doctor and Jo team up with a group of Thals, as they try to stop an army of Daleks under a frozen mountain from being woken up. ‘Planet of the Daleks’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox.
