I had a lovely time attending the ‘Devcon Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair’ at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Plymouth last weekend on Sunday the 3rd of March. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve finished checking out Season 3 of ‘The Orville’ – also known as ‘New Horizons’ – on Disney+. I’ve greatly enjoyed checking out Season 3. Last week, I received my Blu-ray copy of the ‘Doctor Who’ 2023 Christmas Special called ‘The Church on Ruby Road’, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. I’m saddened by the news that two actors, who I’ve enjoyed watching in two of my favourite TV shows, have passed away recently – Ian Lavender and Michael Jayston. Ian Lavender played Private Pike in ‘Dad’s Army’ and Michael Jayston played the Valeyard in ‘Doctor Who’. It’s sad to think they’re no longer with us. Continue reading
