I believe it’s fair to say that there’s no fantasy film trilogy that has impressed me more than ‘The Lord of the Rings’ film trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson and made from 2001 to 2003. This is a film trilogy that I find myself watching every year. I never get tired of it. 🙂 Continue reading

I’m very saddened that Bernard Hill, who played King Théoden in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ film trilogy by director Peter Jackson, has passed away recently. After sharing ‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version’ in my 2021 advent calendar last December, I’ve finished updating my reviews on ‘The Lord of the Rings’ BBC radio series set in the world of Middle-Earth! I’ve enjoyed revisiting this radio series and updating my reviews on the three volumes. The ‘LOTR’ radio series stars Ian Holm as Frodo Baggins, Michael Horden as Gandalf, Robert Stephens as Aragorn, John Le Mesurier as Bilbo Baggins, Peter Woodthorpe as Gollum and Bill Nighy as Samwise Gamgee.
