Following my latest Easter message with Sarah Sutton today, it’s fitting that I share my latest updated ‘Nyssa Challenge’ review on the first story of ‘The Stockbridge Trilogy’ of ‘Doctor Who’ audios by Big Finish called ‘Castle of Fear’ by Alan Barnes. ‘The Stockbridge Trilogy’ was released from October to December 2009 and is a collection of three four-part adventures set in the English village of Stockbridge. It’s Easter Saturday today, and the 2024 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season continues as we check out the second ‘Short Trips’ anthology book of ‘Doctor Who’ published by the BBC called ‘More Short Trips’, released in March 1999. There are seventeen stories in the anthology. Once again, one of them features the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa. 🙂 Continue reading →

Usually, I’d purchase a ‘Tom and Jerry’ film when spending a weekend attending a convention somewhere. When I was in Plymouth earlier this month, I purchased the ‘Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase’ DVD. This is a nice change to check out a ‘Scooby-Doo’ film instead of a ‘Tom and Jerry’ film. Continue reading →

My Dad purchased the first Blu-ray collection of the first four ‘Carry On’ films recently. I greatly enjoyed checking out these British comedy films, since they’re very entertaining. There’s ‘Carry On Sergeant’, ‘Carry On Nurse’, ‘Carry On Teacher’ and ‘Carry On Constable’ in the Blu-ray set of films. 🙂 Continue reading →
