And what good timing it is to share this blog post today, as it’s exactly one year ago that ‘The Power of the Doctor’, Jodie Whittaker’s final eposode as the Thirteenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’, was transmitted on BBC TV on the 23rd of October 2022. It’s the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ and it’s time for me to share the first full-length episode of my epic three-part ‘Doctor Who’ 60th anniversary adventure called ‘The Thirteen+ Doctors’. This is listed under ‘The Thirteenth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ page in ‘Doctor Who by Tim Bradley’. The first episode of the story is called ‘Part I: The Gathering of the Doctors’.

Today, I’m sharing the third of The Doctors pages in ‘Doctor Who by Tim Bradley’, which is ‘The Third Doctor by Tim Bradley’ page. This contains links to the ‘Doctor Who’ fan-fiction stories by me featuring the Third Doctor, as played by Jon Pertwee in the classic TV series. So far, the stories by me featuring the Third Doctor include ‘The Matter of Reality’ (Z), ‘The Robots of Lonmar’ and ‘The Prime Factor’. Does this count as a proper ‘Doctor Who’ story? 😐 I don’t know, but I’m going to include it in my 60th Anniversary Marathon anyway. It’s time for ‘Dimensions In Time’, the 30th anniversary story that was released on Children In Need night back in November 1993. It’s a two-part adventure by John Nathan-Turner and David Roden, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor, Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Sophie Aldred as Ace, Carole Ann Ford as Susan, Deborah Watling as Victoria, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Caroline John as Liz, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane, Louise Jameson as Leela, K-9, voiced by John Leeson, Lalla Ward as Romana, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Nicola Bryant as Peri and Bonnie Langford as Mel. Whilst Season 19 is my favourite season out of the Peter Davison/Fifth Doctor era, Season 20 is arguably my second favourite season. I acknowledge that Season 20 had its problems, particularly in the production values affected by industrial action, but I enjoyed this season more than Season 21. 🙂 Continue reading →

It’s time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’, as we take a look at the 20th anniversary special called ‘The Five Doctors’ by Terrance Dicks. ‘The Five Doctors’ stars Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, William Hartnell and Richard Hurndall as the First Doctor, Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, and Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. There’s also Janet Fielding as Tegan, Mark Strickson as Turlough, Carole Ann Ford as Susan, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, Lalla Ward as Romana and more. I highly recommend watching the 101-minute Special Edition version of ‘The Five Doctors’, as that has more scenes and CGI effects in it. You can check out the Special Edition version on Disc 2 of the 25th Anniversary 2-disc DVD edition of ‘The Five Doctors’. It’s time for us to conclude our look into ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ of ‘Doctor Who’. Today, we finish off this BBC audio series of Fourth Doctor adventures with the fifth and final story of the ‘Serpent Crest’ saga called ‘Survivors In Space’. This story stars Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Susan Jameson as Mrs. Wibbsey and Richard Franklin as Mike Yates. There’s also Cornelius Garrett as Reverend Tonge, David Troughton as the Visitor, Nerys Hughes as Deirdre, Joanna Tope as Tish, Sam Hoare as Lucius, and Paddy Wallace as the Tsar. Continue reading →

It’s time to begin the third and final set of ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ in ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Serpent Crest’, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. Today, we’re taking a look at ‘Tsar Wars’ by Paul Magrs. As well as Tom Baker, there’s Susan Jameson as Mrs. Wibbsey.
