Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for one of the most exciting ‘Doctor Who’ adventures ever made in the First Doctor era called ‘The Chase’. The Daleks return to chase the First Doctor TARDIS team throughout time and space! This story also features the last appearances of William Russell as Ian and Jacqueline Hill as Barbara. It also features the first appearance of Peter Purves as new companion Steven (although Peter plays Mortin Dill in the third episode and plays Steven in the sixth and final episode of this story). For today’s instalment of the 2022-23 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season, we’re checking out the six ‘Doctor Who’ annual stories featured in the ‘Time Wake & Other Stories’ audio collection. I’ve recently listened to the stories featured in ‘Time Wake & Other Stories’ via download on Audible. The story of interest to me is called ‘Night Flight to Nowhere’, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan.
