I’m sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but it turns out that Alan Rickman has sadly passed away today at the age of 69. This is such a shock and my prayers and thoughts are with his family who were with him when he died. Alan passed away after a long battle with cancer and he will be sorely missed. Continue reading

‘Paddington’ is a brilliantly delightful movie featuring the famous little bear found on Paddington Station in London. I remember watching Paddington Bear in his own children’s TV show when I was a kid. Now I’ve seen the movie, I can safely say this has been a very pleasing movie to see for all ages! I’ve now seen the BBC adaptation of ‘And Then There Were None’ by Agatha Christie. This was a three-part drama that was shown from the 26th to the 28th of December 2015. I enjoyed seeing ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas’ on Boxing Day this year. This is a brand-new half-hour special episode starring Shaun the Sheep. This is one present I had for Christmas!

I enjoyed watching ‘Downtime’ on DVD. It’s an exciting drama starring Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith; Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier and Deborah Watling as Victoria Waterfield. I’m not sure I fully understand the plot, but it was exciting as I wanted to see this and I’m glad that this is on DVD. Continue reading
