Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
8th of May and it’s my birthday today! 🙂 I’d like to share a couple of photos of a personalised jigsaw puzzle I’ve put together recently. It contains photos of some ‘Doctor Who’ stars that I’ve met over the years at conventions. These ‘Doctor Who’ stars mean a great deal to me!
Top left is a photo of me with Sarah Sutton (Nyssa), Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor) and Janet Fielding (Tegan Jovanka) at the ‘Happy Who Year’ convention in Epsom, January 2025. Top right is a photo of me with Millie Gibson (Ruby Sunday) at ‘Film & Comic Con Cardiff’ in October 2025. Bottom left is a photo of me with Dad, Sarah Sutton and Mum at ‘Devcon Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair’ in Plymouth, March 2024. Bottom right is a photo of me with Jodie Whittaker (the Thirteenth Doctor) and David Tennant (the Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors) at ‘London Comic Con Winter’ in November 2022. And in the heart-shaped centre, there’s a photo of Cuddles and Sarah Sutton at ‘Bury Comic Con’ in June 2025. I’ve greatly enjoyed putting together this jigsaw puzzle containing my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stars as well as my parents and Cuddles. It’s lovely to see such happy memories in a jigsaw puzzle. 🙂

I’m looking forward to enjoying my birthday today! Today, I’m hoping to enjoy a day trip to Merthyr Tydfil. Whether it’s sunny and dry or not, it doesn’t matter. I’m sure I’ll enjoy the train trip there and back to Merthyr Tydfil, including having a meal in a restaurant somewhere.
I’m currently in the process of doing a marathon revisit of Seasons 18, 19 and 20 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. I’m enjoying it so far, especially since the three classic ‘Doctor Who’ seasons feature my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companion – Sarah Sutton as Nyssa of Traken. 🙂
I’m looking forward to seeing Sarah Sutton again at the ‘Festival of the Time Lords’ convention at the end of May this year. She’ll be there along with Peter Davison, Janet Fielding, Paul McGann, Jo Martin, Dan Starkey, Catrin Stewart, Terry Molloy, Stewart Alexander, etc.
I know I’m behind with sharing more of my latest ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Swing Time’ featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy. I’ve been delayed as I’m currently sharing my latest in-depth reviews on Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson.
I’ll soon be sharing my in-depth reviews on the ‘Tales of the TARDIS’ spin-off series, ‘Joy to the World’ and Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. But hopefully, I’ll be back on track with uploading more chapters of ‘Swing Time’ soon, as I’d like to share more of my latest ‘Doctor Who’ story.
I’m pleased I’ve finished updating my ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ reviews on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ with the latest review on the two-part finale ‘Nemesis’ in Season 3 of the show. There’ll be a new set of reviews that I’ll start sharing on Early Bank Holiday Monday in May 2027 – hopefully on Season 1 of ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’, which I’m looking forward to.

I’m very pleased that I’ve had my Millie Gibson 2026 Calendar signed by Millie recently at ‘London Comic Con Spring’ back in March this year. Millie signed the May photo of her in the calendar with a message of “Happy Birthday” on it. It was so sweet of Millie to sign the May calendar photo for me with a birthday message. I’m looking forward to when I get to see Millie again at another convention sometime in the future.
Sometime towards the end of May, a new ‘Star Wars’ film will be released at cinemas called ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’. I need to catch up on ‘The Mandalorian’, including checking out Season 3. I’m in the process of revisiting Season 1 of ‘The Mandalorian’ and hope to revisit Season 2 as well as ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ before checking out Season 3. Mind you, I might see ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ at the cinema regardless of whether I’ve seen Seasons 1 to 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ or not. 😀
Again, I’ve a lot to be thankful for on my birthday today and I’m sure I’ll be sharing what birthday gifts and surprises I’ve received today later on, over the weekend and sometime during next week. In the meantime, many thanks for supporting ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I hope to keep you entertained in the future with my reviews and stories on my blog.
This me signing off to enjoy my birthday today! Please keep safe!
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now!
Tim 🙂
