On Disney+, I recently saw the 1988 film ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’! I used to watch this film when I was a kid back in the 1990s. There’s one more ‘X-Men’ film to check out after this, but it’s time to check out the final instalment of the main ‘X-Men’ film series called ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ – or just ‘Dark Phoenix’ as it’s called in the USA. ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ is written and directed by Simon Kinberg. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexander Shipp and Jessica Chastain. Like ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, has my opinion on ‘Dark Phoenix’ changed significantly since I first saw it at the cinema back in 2019? Continue reading

I’ve seen the 1972 film ‘The Poseidon Adventure’ on Disney+ This is an intense disaster film which I enjoyed watching. It’s astonishing a disaster movie like this was made in the 1970s. I’ve found out that the upcoming ‘Downton Abbey 2’ movie scheduled for December 2021 has been rescheduled for March 2022.
