Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
And welcome to this year’s ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season from December 2025 to January 2026! 🙂 It’s a Christmas tradition that’s been going for the past 10 years (unless you reschedule a ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season for Easter 2024 instead of Christmas 2023, but that’s beside the point) where I share brand-new and updated reviews on certain ‘Doctor Who’ stories featuring Nyssa of Traken, my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companion, as played by Sarah Sutton in the TV series and the Big Finish audios. I’m looking forward to sharing with you some brand-new reviews on certain ‘Doctor Who’/Nyssa stories that have come out this year as well as share updated reviews on certain stories I’ve already covered but have revisited recently. “Merry Christmas Sarah!” 🙂
To celebrate Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) on Christmas Day today, I’ve shared a brand-new YouTube video compilation containing six audio interviews that I’ve conducted with Sarah at six conventions from 2023 to 2025. I’m very pleased I’ve been able to put this video together. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
Hmm. I must admit, I wasn’t one of those people who was ecstatically excited about this ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series involving U.N.I.T. and the Sea Devils – although they’re now referred to as ‘Homo Aqua’ in the series. Personally, I think ‘Sea Devils’ is a catchier name. Continue reading

Happy Birthday Sarah Sutton!
To commemorate Sarah’s birthday today, I’ve found the complete behind-the-scenes making-of documentary of ‘Castrovalva’, the first story of Peter Davison’s era of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Time Trap’, which was originally exclusive on Disc 1 of the Season 19 Blu-ray box set. I first saw this documentary back in December 2018 over the Christmas period. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
At this point in time, many of you will have seen the first two episodes of the new ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series ‘The War Between the Land and the Sea’. As I write this review, I’ve yet to see the episodes. I’ll be sharing a general overview of the series later this month. 🙂 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
I’ve completed my celebrations of ‘Back to the Future’s 40th anniversary on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ this year by checking out the third ‘Back to the Future’ movie novelization – ‘Back to the Future, Part III’ by Craig Shaw Gardner, based on the screenplay by producer Bob Gale and on the story by director Robert Zemeckis and producer Bob Gale. I’ve greatly enjoyed reading ‘Back to the Future, Part III’ from November to December 2025, and it’s fitting I’m sharing my latest review on the movie novelization before Christmas. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
On ‘Doctor Who Day’ (the 23rd of November), we were given a compilation of deleted scenes from episodes of Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Ncuti Gatwa. I anticipated that these deleted scenes would appear on the official ‘Doctor Who’ YouTube channel. 🙂 Continue reading

After checking out ‘Aftermath’, it’s time to check out the first two-part story in Season 2 of the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series. It’s time for ‘Coming of the Fuzors’, which introduces us to two new characters and a new breed of Transformers where a robot can transform into a mixture of an animal. The two new characters include Quickstrike, who can transform from a scorpion-cobra into a robot and vice versa, and there’s Silverbolt, who can transform from a wolf-eagle into a robot and vice versa. They’re recruited by Megatron for the Predacon cause. Very soon, the Predacons battle against the Maximals, who are defending their base of operations. I saw ‘Part 1’ of the two-part story on Easter Monday in April 1999 and I saw ‘Part 2’ on Early Bank Holiday Monday in May 1999. The story was later released on an official VHS tape as well as on DVD. Will the Maximals be able to cope in their fight against the Predacons without their fearless leader? Continue reading

Happy 62nd Anniversary, ‘Doctor Who’!
I wasn’t planning on sharing a specific blog post to celebrate ‘Doctor Who’s 62nd anniversary, as it was just going to be my convention report on ‘London Comic Con Winter 2025’ to celebrate the occasion. But then I thought, let’s do a proper blog post! 🙂 Continue reading
