For my birthday last Wednesday, I went to see a re-release of ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace’ at Showcase Cinema in Nantgarw. It’s amazing to think that it’s been 25 years since the release of that movie in 1999 and it’s amazing it’s been able to get a limited re-release at cinemas. 🙂 Continue reading

I’ve been able to see all of the ‘Ghostbusters’ films on BBC iPlayer these past two weeks, especially in revisiting ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ at the cinema in Leicester recently. I’ve recently seen the two ‘Homeward Bound’ movies on Disney+. These are movies that I used to enjoy seeing as a kid. Last month, I checked out the recent ‘Ghostbusters’ film at the cinema called ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’. Thus, it made sense for me to check out the original 1984 film ‘Ghostbusters’, starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. On Easter Tuesday this week, my parents and I went to see a re-release of ‘Mary Poppins’ at the cinema. I greatly enjoyed watching this film on the big screen. I used to see ‘Mary Poppins’ when I was a kid in the 1990s. It’s incredible that the film is celebrating its 60th anniversary since its release in 1964. 🙂 Continue reading
