Movie Review – ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’ (1959)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, after checking out ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ with David Tennant on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, it makes sense that I check out another adaptation based on one of Jules Verne’s works of literature. I’ve now seen the 1959 film adaptation of ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’ on Disney+. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Zootropolis’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Over the Christmas holidays in 2021, I saw the Disney film ‘Zootropolis’ on BBC One. I didn’t see it from beginning to end, but I managed to see most of the film when I was having my lunch on the day it was shown on TV. Lately, I’ve seen the complete film of ‘Zootropolis’ on Disney+, which is great. 🙂 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘People Like Us’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, I saw the film ‘People Like Us’ on Disney+. This was an unusual film to see. Even though the film was released by Disney, it was through Touchstone Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures. I’m not sure I would like to class it as a Disney film, due to the subject matter and its semi-adult content. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Shadow Conspiracy’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For the first Disney+ film I saw in 2022, I saw ‘Shadow Conspiracy’, a 1997 film starring Charlie Sheen, Donald Sutherland, Linda Hamilton and Sam Waterston. Now this is a film that apparently was not liked by critics at the time of its release, yet audiences seem to like it a bit more than critics. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Howard the Duck’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I received two Christmas presents from my best mate Stephen from school in 2021. One is Marvel-related; the other is nominated as ‘the best worst movie ever’. I think Stephen wanted me to review these movies on my blog. Which I’m fine with! 😀 And I’m pretty sure to find entertainment in both films. Continue reading

Quick Trailer Thoughts – ‘Morbius’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Sadly, the upcoming film ‘Morbius’ has been delayed from a January release to an April release this year. Hopefully by the time the film comes out in April, there’ll be less Covid cases going about – please keep safe. In the meantime, let me share some thoughts on the movie based on the trailer. 🙂 Continue reading

It’s time for me to share some a few quick reviews on some Christmas presents I gave to my Mum and Dad last year. Quick DVD Review – ‘Jumanji’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Over Christmas 2021, I’ve been watching some of my Christmas presents on Blu-ray, including ‘Space Jam’, ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ and the two ‘Jumanji’ films ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and ‘The Next Level’. I greatly enjoyed seeing those movies on Blu-ray again over the Christmas period. 🙂 Continue reading
