Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
So, after seeing the 40th anniversary re-release of ‘The Transformers: The Movie’ at the Omniplex Cinema in Wigan last weekend, I stayed on to watch the 12-minute short film called ‘Optimus Prime: Awakening’ shown after that. As a short film, it was fascinating to see. 🙂 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley
It’s been a sad week this past week, as a few people have passed away recently. Two were a couple of amazing actors that I’ve enjoyed watching and listening to over the years – Tim Curry and Peter Cullen. Let me share my thoughts on these two incredibly talented actors. Continue reading

As promised, here’s my brand-new in-depth review on an Easter film, which I first saw on Disney+ last year. It’s time to check out the 2004 film ‘Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo’. This is the first time I’ve done an in-depth review on a ‘Winnie the Pooh’ film, especially one featuring Pooh and his friends in the Disney sense. This is following on from my quick reviews on ‘Winnie the Pooh’ films produced by Disney like ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’, the 2018 film ‘Christopher Robin’, ‘Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin’ and of course ‘Springtime with Roo’. And I’ve seen two ‘Winnie the Pooh’ films lately, which I’ve enjoyed very much. First things first: ‘Escape to Witch Mountain’! Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.
Usually, I don’t see two movies at the cinema in a row on the same day, but last Saturday, I saw ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ in the morning and ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ in the afternoon. I enjoyed both movies and I’m hoping to do in-depth reviews on the two films in future. 🙂 Continue reading

Well, we’ve finally reached the end of the ‘Transformers Film Review Season’!!!!!
And I’m happy to say we’re finishing on a high, as we come to what is arguably the best ‘Transformers’ film in the live-action film series. It’s time for ‘Bumblebee’ which was released in December 2018 and directed by Travis Knight. The film stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker and Pamela Adlon. Is this film still as good as I remember from watching it on the big screen in January 2019? Continue reading

And welcome to fourth instalment of the ‘Transformers Film Review Season’!!!!!
It’s time to check out the fourth film in the live-action film series of ‘Transformers’ called ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’. Directed by Michael Bay, this film was released in 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci. This was also the first ‘Transformers’ film that I didn’t see at the cinema when it was came out in 2014. Did I find the film worthwhile in the end when watching it for the first time on DVD?
