Movie Review – ‘Breakthrough’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s rare that a Christian drama film gets released at the cinema these days. Thankfully my parents and I saw the latest Christian drama film based on a true story called ‘Breakthrough’ at the cinema. And the film itself was directed by a ‘Star Trek’ actress/director no less. Yeah! I was surprised by this. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Campion’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As it’s a day before my birthday today, it’s good timing to do a quick review on a birthday present I gave my Mum in March this year! My parents and I have finished watching the complete series of ‘Campion’ starring Peter Davison. I’ve enjoyed watching this crime drama TV series with my parents! Continue reading

‘Monarch of the Glen’ – Series 1 UPDATED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I are currently revisiting ‘Monarch of the Glen’ this year! So I’ve been able to update and extend my reviews on the episodes themselves. Lately, I’ve updated my reviews on Series 1 of ‘Monarch of the Glen’, starring Richard Briers, Susan Hampshire, Alistair Mackenzie and Lorraine Pilkington. I’m glad I’ve been able to do this and hope I’ll be able to update my reviews for the rest of the series. Continue reading

Quick Audiobook Review – ‘The Moon Stallion’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is going to be a quick review as I’ll be coming back to this audiobook when I come to review it and re-review ‘The Moon Stallion’ novelization in December 2019 along with a new set of ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews. It’s been a long time but I’m so happy to say ‘The Moon Stallion’ audiobook is out! Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Hamlet’ (2009)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for an old Amazon.co.uk review to be posted onto my blog. This is the first one for 2019 I believe. Today I’ve added a new review for the ‘Drama’ page. This is a DVD review on the 2009 TV film of ‘Hamlet’, based on the 2008 RSC theatre production starring David Tennant and Patrick Stewart. It’s amazing that this would be the 10th anniversary of the 2009 TV film based on the 2008 theatre production. Continue reading

‘All Creatures Great and Small’ – Christmas Specials (1983–1985) REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Christmas time!

Okay, no it isn’t. But I’ve added my two reviews on the two Christmas Specials of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ from 1983 and 1985 to my blog! These are the two final episodes that feature what I consider to be the golden era of ‘All Creatures’. It’s where the series ends for me on a personal level, but I will be watching and reviewing Series 4 next. Continue reading

‘All Creatures Great and Small’ – Series 3 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finished all of my reviews on Series 3 of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’! This is where it sort of ends for me regarding the original run of ‘All Creatures’ episodes. There are the two Christmas Specials to look forward to, but this is where I feel the series ends for me before it goes downhill. I will be reviewing Series 4-7 after doing the Christmas Specials, but this will not be with the same enthusiasm. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 8, Episode 8

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I apologise for the delay to my review on Series 8, Episode 8 of ‘Call the Midwife’. I was away last weekend for the ‘London Comic Con Spring’. It has taken a while for me to settle back in. Thankfully I saw the season finale for Series 8 of ‘Call the Midwife’ via BBC iPlayer with my parents on Monday. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 8, Episode 7

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen Episode 7 of Series 8 in ‘Call the Midwife’! The episode has quite an emotional gut-punching ending, especially for one of the family members of our main characters. It connects to a storyline that was somewhat introduced in Episode 1 of Series 8, but we’ll get to it once we get to it. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 4, Episode 6

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’ve come to the end of Series 4 of ‘Grantchester’! I’ve really enjoyed watching ‘Grantchester’ via ITV Hub with my parents this year. I hope I will get onto watching the previous three seasons of this detective drama series set in a 1950s English village. My parents and I have got them on DVD at home. Continue reading
