Blu-ray Special Feature Review – ‘Time Trap’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Happy Birthday Sarah Sutton!

To commemorate Sarah’s birthday today, I’ve found the complete behind-the-scenes making-of documentary of ‘Castrovalva’, the first story of Peter Davison’s era of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Time Trap’, which was originally exclusive on Disc 1 of the Season 19 Blu-ray box set. I first saw this documentary back in December 2018 over the Christmas period. Continue reading

At this point in time, many of you will have seen the first two episodes of the new ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series ‘The War Between the Land and the Sea’. As I write this review, I’ve yet to see the episodes. I’ll be sharing a general overview of the series later this month. 🙂 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

On ‘Doctor Who Day’ (the 23rd of November), we were given a compilation of deleted scenes from episodes of Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Ncuti Gatwa. I anticipated that these deleted scenes would appear on the official ‘Doctor Who’ YouTube channel. 🙂 Continue reading

Celebrating 62 Years of ‘Doctor Who’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Happy 62nd Anniversary, ‘Doctor Who’!

I wasn’t planning on sharing a specific blog post to celebrate ‘Doctor Who’s 62nd anniversary, as it was just going to be my convention report on ‘London Comic Con Winter 2025’ to celebrate the occasion. But then I thought, let’s do a proper blog post! 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Happy 62nd Anniversary, ‘Doctor Who’! 🙂

And what better way to celebrate the occasion by sharing my latest convention report on ‘London Comic Con Winter 2025’, which I attended last weekend. The convention ran for two days from Saturday 15th to Sunday 16th of November. I attended the Saturday only. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Reactions to Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’ (ALL in ONE COMPILATION)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve decided to share a brand-new video containing my quick reactions to Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, originally recorded from December 2024 to June 2025. This is like the longest compilation video I’ve ever put together, as its runtime is about 1 hour and 32 minutes. So, it’s like watching a movie for an hour and a half. You’ll need to have about 92 minutes to check out this video in full. 😀 Continue reading

CD Review – ‘The Last Days of the Powell Estate’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the last Big Finish audio review for this week to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’. What better way to finish it off than by checking out the second audio adventure starring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler in ‘The Ninth Doctor Adventures’ by Big Finish. It’s time for ‘The Last Days of the Powell Estate’ by Timothy X Atack. Hopefully, I’ll be back to check out more Ninth Doctor and Rose audio stories as well as more Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz audio stories in the New Year, once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year as well as upcoming in-depth reviews on Series 14 and 15 of the new TV series with Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor. CD Review – ‘The Return of the Doctor’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to check out the second audio story in ‘The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures’ of ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish called ‘The Return of the Doctor’, starring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor and Mandip Gill as Yasmin Khan. I’m currently enjoying the latest Big Finish audios of ‘Doctor Who’ featuring the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz. I’m not planning to check out and do a review on the third audio story ‘Lionesses in Winter’ before the end of this year. I’m likely to check that out audio story along with the rest of ‘The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures’ sometime next year. Mind you, I might slip in ‘Lionesses in Winter’ as part of my Christmas schedule, since it’s considered a Christmas Special. 🙂 Continue reading

CD Review – ‘Snare’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After checking out ‘Vampire Weekend’, the first of ‘The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures’ of ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish, starring Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill, it’s time to check out the first of ‘The Ninth Doctor Adventures’ starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. I’m pleased to be making a start on checking out these audios at last, especially as they’re for eras of ‘Doctor Who’ that I personally love. The Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper era of ‘Doctor Who’ is particularly special for me, since it was the first era for me to be introduced to in the new TV series. I’m glad Chris Eccleston and Billie Piper have reunited to do more ‘Doctor Who’ audio stories as the Ninth Doctor and Rose. Continue reading

CD Review – ‘Vampire Weekend’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This year, it’s the 62nd anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’! 🙂 To celebrate the occasion and in the build-up to the 62nd anniversary on the 23rd of November, I’ve decided to check out the latest Big Finish audios of ‘Doctor Who’ featuring the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz as well as the Ninth Doctor and Rose. I’ve been meaning to check out these Big Finish audio adventures for quite some time, but I’ve been busy with updating my ‘Doctor Who’ reviews on the stories in Seasons 20 and 25 of the classic TV series, based on their ‘Collection’ Blu-ray box sets. Thankfully, I can find some time to check out and listen to some of the latest Big Finish audio stories to review on my blog. Continue reading
