Quick ‘MCU’ Series Review – ‘Moon Knight’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s taken me a while to get around to reviewing ‘Moon Knight’ (more than usual, I might add), but I’m happy to say that I’ve seen one of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ shows that was released on Disney+ in 2022. I hope I’ll catch up on the other ‘MCU’ shows that have been released since soon. 🙂 Continue reading

Blu-ray review – ‘The Abominable Snowmen’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As promised, here’s my updated review on the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘The Abominable Snowmen’. This updated review is based on the latest in a line of mostly missing black-and-white ‘Doctor Who’ TV stories from the 1960s that have been animated on DVD and Blu-ray for today. The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. Continue reading

Basement Update – October 2022

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So, it has been a while since I’ve done a blog post and/or a review on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. It’s been about a week since I did my 7th anniversary blog posts back in September, including the ‘Return to Christmas’ preview. And this is not the regular ‘Basement News’ blog post that I share every month. Continue reading

A Special Preview of ‘Return to Christmas’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Today, to celebrate seven years of ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’m sharing the prologue to the upcoming Christmas Special in ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series called ‘Return to Christmas’, which will be released in its entirety in December 2022. Hopefully by the time you read this post, the story will have been uploaded and scheduled for release on Sarah Sutton’s birthday in December this year. Continue reading

Happy 7th Anniversary to ‘Bradley’s Basement’

The office is empty at first. Tim then enters, yawning away, as he sits down at the computer. He soon types away.

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

(yawns) Excuse me. I’ve been pretty busy lately. What with getting my 60th anniversary special of ‘Doctor Who’ sorted for 2023 as well my upcoming ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season for December. (Pause) I’m not entirely sure what day it is today. (Pause) What day is it? (checks mobile) Continue reading

The ‘Spy Kids’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve been wanting to talk about this film series for quite some time, as the ‘Spy Kids’ films mean a lot to me. Well, the first three films more than the fourth film, but we’ll get into that a little more later on. The ‘Spy Kids’ films were created by Robert Rodriguez, who wrote, directed and edited the films. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Robin Hood’ (1973)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Since I’ve reviewed quite a number of ‘Robin Hood’ stories on my blog, including the 1952 film with Richard Todd and of course the Tom and Jerry film, it’s only fair that I review the Disney film from 1973. If you were to ask me if this was my first experience of Robin Hood, then the answer is ‘yes’. 😀 Continue reading

Convention Memories – ‘Pandorica 2014’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s that time again for me to share another set of ‘convention memories’ as a ‘Doctor Who’ fan! 🙂 In September 2014, I attended the ‘Pandorica 2014’ convention at the Future Inn in Bristol, run by Fantom Films. I would later attend another ‘Pandorica’ convention in 2015 at the same Future Inn. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ (2011)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

(sighs) The 2011 film ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’. Now before I talk about this movie, I just want to reflect on some of the things I said in my review for ‘Operation Mincemeat’. I think I might have been harsh in my criticisms for it being quite slow-going and not having enough action featured in it. Continue reading

Holiday Report – Return to Amroth (September 2022)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After three years since I last went to Amroth for a week’s holiday in April 2019, my parents and I returned to Amroth in West Wales for the first time in a long while. It was nice to revisit Amroth again as well as Wiseman’s Bridge, Saundersfoot and Tenby after going through the two Covid years. Continue reading
