Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s my birthday today! 🙂 I’m amazed that this is the tenth blog post I shared about my birthday on the 8th of May and it’s incredible that I’ve done my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog for ten years so far. Many thanks to everyone who has supported my blog these past ten years.
Today, I’m sharing a birthday card that I received quite a while ago from the parents of my best school mate Stephen. It’s a Spider-Man card, of course. Spidey is my favourite Marvel Comics superhero. I’ve enjoyed seeing his movies and TV shows over the years. 🙂
I’m looking forward to enjoying today, including checking out my birthday cards and presents from friends and family. Provided the weather is okay, I hope my parents and I will get to visit Barry Island today. Or we could visit Cardiff Bay and have a meal at Zizzi or Pizza Express.
This year’s birthday movie for me is the latest ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film called ‘Thunderbolts*’. I’m not seeing it on my birthday today, but I’ll be seeing it on Saturday. I’m looking forward to seeing the movie – hopefully at the Odeon Cinema in Cardiff Bay.
When I saw Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) at the ‘Capitol Cutaway’ convention in April, I shared that I’d be watching the extended version of ‘Black Orchid’ on Blu-ray. I’m hoping that will be the case, as ‘Black Orchid’ is my absolute favourite ‘Doctor Who’ story.
I’m still working on uploading ‘Parts Three and Four’ of ‘Neptune Connect’, my latest ‘Doctor Who’ story from the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy series. Hopefully, I’ll have the four-part Cybermen story complete and uploaded on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ by June 2025.
I’ve started sharing updated ‘Beast Wars’ reviews on my blog, with the first one shared this week on Early Bank Holiday Monday in May in the UK. Hopefully, I’ll continue sharing more of my updated reviews on the rest of the ‘Beast Wars’ series in future weeks.
I’m also nearly finished with putting together the rest of my updated reviews on Season 20 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series on Blu-ray, including the stories ‘Enlightenment’, ‘The King’s Demons’ and ‘The Five Doctors’. Stay tuned for my reviews in June.
In the meantime, I’m looking forward to sharing more quick video reactions on the rest of Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor. I’ve shared four video reactions so far. This weekend, it’s the episode ‘The Story and the Engine’.
Back at the end of March and the beginning of April, I’ve enjoyed attending two conventions, including ‘MegaCon Live Birmingham 2025’ and ‘Capitol Cutaway’. I saw Sarah Sutton at both those conventions and I saw Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor) at ‘Capitol Cutaway’.
I’m looking forward to attending ‘Collectormania Milton Keynes’ at the end of May with guests like Millie Gibson, Colin Baker and Marina Sirtis. I’m also looking forward to attending the ‘Bury Comic Con’ at the end of June with Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding.
There’s a lot to be thankful for on my birthday and I’m very pleased to have shared my reviews on many ‘Doctor Who’ stories, movies and TV stories over the years. I hope to keep you entertained in the years to come, even if it’s a quick blog post about something.
In the meantime, this me signing off to enjoy my birthday today! Please keep safe!
Bye for now!
Tim 🙂

Hello again Tim,
Happy birthday 2025, hope you had a wonderful day. Lovely to see the convention pictures, hope you had fun. The blog goes from strength to strength, I don’t know how you do it.
I’m looking forward to further adventures from the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy too.
All best wishes, Tony

Thanks Tony,
Had a lovely birthday on Thursday and I enjoyed seeing ‘Thunderbolts*’ yesterday. Glad you enjoyed the convention photos. Looking forward to my next two at Milton Keynes in May and Bury in June. I’m quite behind on ‘Neptune Connect’, but hopefully, I’ll be sharing ‘Part Three’ of the story pretty soon.
Best wishes,
Tim 🙂
