And what good timing it is to share this blog post today, as it’s exactly one year ago that ‘The Power of the Doctor’, Jodie Whittaker’s final eposode as the Thirteenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’, was transmitted on BBC TV on the 23rd of October 2022. It’s the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ and it’s time for me to share the first full-length episode of my epic three-part ‘Doctor Who’ 60th anniversary adventure called ‘The Thirteen+ Doctors’. This is listed under ‘The Thirteenth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ page in ‘Doctor Who by Tim Bradley’. The first episode of the story is called ‘Part I: The Gathering of the Doctors’.

To celebrate eight years of ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’m sharing a special preview of my upcoming epic three-part 60th anniversary special of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘The Thirteen+ Doctors’. It’s time for me to share the second of The Doctors pages in ‘Doctor Who by Tim Bradley’, which is ‘The Second Doctor by Tim Bradley’ page. This contains links to the ‘Doctor Who’ fan-fiction stories by me featuring the Second Doctor, as played by Patrick Troughton in the classic TV series. So far, the stories by me featuring the Second Doctor include ‘The Robots of Lonmar’, ‘Brain and Heart’, ‘The Five Doctors at Christmas’, ‘The Prime Factor’ and ‘The Deepening Rain’ (Z). Whilst Season 19 is my favourite season out of the Peter Davison/Fifth Doctor era, Season 20 is arguably my second favourite season. I acknowledge that Season 20 had its problems, particularly in the production values affected by industrial action, but I enjoyed this season more than Season 21. 🙂 Continue reading →

It’s time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’, as we take a look at the 20th anniversary special called ‘The Five Doctors’ by Terrance Dicks. ‘The Five Doctors’ stars Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, William Hartnell and Richard Hurndall as the First Doctor, Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, and Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. There’s also Janet Fielding as Tegan, Mark Strickson as Turlough, Carole Ann Ford as Susan, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, Lalla Ward as Romana and more. I highly recommend watching the 101-minute Special Edition version of ‘The Five Doctors’, as that has more scenes and CGI effects in it. You can check out the Special Edition version on Disc 2 of the 25th Anniversary 2-disc DVD edition of ‘The Five Doctors’. There’s also the original 90-minute TV version of the story, which can be checked out on DVD and Britbox. Continue reading →
