Does this count as a proper ‘Doctor Who’ story? 😐 I don’t know, but I’m going to include it in my 60th Anniversary Marathon anyway. It’s time for ‘Dimensions In Time’, the 30th anniversary story that was released on Children In Need night back in November 1993. It’s a two-part adventure by John Nathan-Turner and David Roden, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor, Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Sophie Aldred as Ace, Carole Ann Ford as Susan, Deborah Watling as Victoria, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Caroline John as Liz, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane, Louise Jameson as Leela, K-9, voiced by John Leeson, Lalla Ward as Romana, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Nicola Bryant as Peri and Bonnie Langford as Mel. It’s time for another one of my favourite stories from the Tom Baker era of ‘Doctor Who’. It’s the fifth story of Season 14 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series and it’s called ‘The Robots of Death’, a four-part adventure by Chris Boucher, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Louise Jameson as Leela. There are also guest stars like David Collings, Pamela Salem, Brain Croucher and David Ballie. ‘The Robots of Death’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. Continue reading
