Series 3 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series is the Martha Jones season in the David Tennant/Tenth Doctor era. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And here we are on the season finale of Series 3 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series! 🙂 This is a three-part story by Russell T. Davies called ‘Utopia’/’The Sound of Drums’/’Last of the Time Lords’. David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones are joined by John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, as the TARDIS takes them to the end of the universe, which is 100 trillion years in the future. There they meet Derek Jacobi as Professor Yana, who turns out to be the Master. Soon, the Master regenerates into John Simm and he becomes Prime Minister of Great Britain in Martha’s time. Can the Doctor, Martha and Jack thwart the evil machinations of the Master before the planet Earth is taken over completely. ‘Utopia’/’The Sound of Drums’/’Last of the Time Lords’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. DVD Review – ‘Little Dorrit’ (1987)

Here’s my latest review on the 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’, based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’ is a two-part film. Each part is about 3 hours long, which makes this a 6-hour film altogether. You’ll probably want to spend two days watching this particular film. 🙂 Continue reading
