Hello everyone! 🙂

Holy smoke! I’ve finished the ‘Batman’ TV series from the 1960s with Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin! The DVD box set of the ‘Batman’ TV series was my birthday present in May 2017. I enjoyed watching all of the three seasons of ‘Batman’ from my birthday in May to today in July 2017! Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Napoleon Dynamite’

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve now seen the third of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

‘Napoleon Dynamite’ is a comedy film made in 2004. It has the feel of a 1980s movie about it, since there are cassette tapes featured in it. I enjoyed seeing this film. I wasn’t sure whether I would take to it, but I found some enjoyment in the story and the characters. I will need to see this movie again. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘The Mask’

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve now seen the second of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

‘The Mask’ is a comedy superhero movie that I’ve enjoyed watching! I remember watching this film on VHS in the 1990s. However I had vague memories from watching the film, since I was a kid and couldn’t remember the story. So it was great to revisit the film on DVD and also watch it as an adult. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve now seen the first of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

I enjoyed watching ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’ on DVD! Yes I know, it’s too early for Christmas as it’s only June! But as Oliver Hardy said, “Do your Christmas shopping early!” 😀 Also, if I can review ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Specials throughout the year, why can’t I do it with Blackadder’s Christmas?! Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve seen the third of three birthday presents from my best mate from school, Stephen.

‘The Fifth Element’ is a science-fiction film that I’ve enjoyed watching and found very interesting. It stars Bruce Willis as the main action hero Korben Dallas and is directed by Lue Beeson. There are plenty of interesting elements regarding the plot and some moments of comedy that I found pretty bizarre. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve seen the second of three birthday presents from my best mate from school, Stephen.

‘Sgt. Bilko’ has been a very enjoyable comedy film starring Steve Martin as the main character. This film was made in 1996 and is based on the 1950s Amercian sitcom series ‘The Phil Silvers Show’ (also known as Sgt. Bilko). I knew what ‘Sgt. Bilko’ was about, having seen the original TV series before this. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve seen two birthday presents I had from my parents last month in May!

These are two DVDs focusing on the famous (or infamous) two-day ‘Doctor Who’ convention held in Longleat in April 1983 to celebrate 20 years of the show. Those of you who remember Longleat in 1983 will know what the convention was like and that it was a crowded event with a lot of things going on. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Here’s a quick review on a birthday present I had from my parents this year!

In Weston-super-Mare, my parents purchased ‘The Peanuts 2 Movie Collection’ DVD. Having enjoyed ‘Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie’ at the cinemas in January this year, I knew I was going to enjoy this DVD collection of two movies with Snoopy Dog and Charlie Brown in them. Continue reading
